Carol C. Poles Areas of Practice: Medical Malpractice Defense Premise Liability Plaintiff Personal Injury Ms. Poles is a graduate of the University of the South in Tennessee and Emory Univserity School of Law in Georgia. She has considerable experience in trial and appellate practice and has been litigating matters before juries since 1992. Her experience includes all aspects of personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice defense, slips and falls, motor vehicle accidents, false arrests and security issues. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Poles served as Assistant Attorney General for New York State. She has successfully defended the State in various tort actions, including medical malpractice actions, before the Court of Claims. She has also represented individually named state employees in civil actions in state court. Before her service with the New York State Attorney General, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York, where she effectively prosecuted a wide variety of violent felony cases to verdict.
